Hyuna takes on "Gangnam Style"

Psy‘s second music video for “Gangnam Style” has been released last August 14, 2012 featuring Hyuna. This girl version of the song is entitled “Oppa is Just My Style.”

While the first music video became a world-wide sensation with its wackiness, this new one seems to be a more traditional music video. Hyuna sings new lyrics over the original track, but is joined by Psy during the chorus. Both music videos were filmed around the same time.

The original music video was released a month ago on July 14 and is now nearing 30 million views.

Kim Hyun Joong gets down and dirty for his role in ‘City Conquest’

A new still cut straight from the set of Kim Hyun Joong‘s upcoming drama, ‘City Conquest‘, has left netizens impressed with his charismatic transformation!

Covered in just enough dirt to leave his handsome features in full view, Kim Hyun Joong is seen pinning an enemy to the ground using his entire body. The picture not only demonstrates the level of action required of him in the drama, but also his determination to perfect his role, which staff noticed and sent applause his way for being willing to get down and dirty to complete the scene.

Kim Hyun Joong has been attending action school to better prepare himself for his role as ‘Baek Mir’. This combined with intense training and dieting has reportedly lowered his body fat percentage to 7%.

Netizens commented, “How can he be this handsome and amazing during an action scene!”, and “I want to see all of these scenes in the drama!”

4Minute Hyuna is Happy about Chinese ‘Bubble Pop’ Copycats

4Minute’s Hyuna said she’s actually very happy about the plagiarized Chinese music video of Bubble Pop,

Hyuna recently met with enews at the CJ E&M Center in Sangam-dong, and when she was asked if she saw the plagiarized music video, Hyuna replied, “I only heard about it. But doesn’t that mean they liked my video enough to copy it? It makes me really happy.” 

“In the past, there was an incident when 4minute’s Musik was also plagiarized overseas.” She added, “Every time this kind of thing happens, it’s so fascinating. Like our company CEO, Hong Seung Sung, says, it’s like the world is becoming one and an Asian star is becoming a world star.”

“Now that I know that more and more people are paying attention to our music, videos, and performances, I realize that we need to put more effort and care into our activities.” Hyuna said, “I will do my best to show you better performances.”

Recently, a Chinese female singer released a music video for her song No No No, which completely coincided with Hyuna’s music video for Bubble Pop, creating controversy on the internet. 

Starting with the lip in the beginning, the music video showed similarities with Bubble Pop in more than one area. The singer and dancers also arrived, wearing white tank tops and blue hot pants as Hyuna did. The only difference was that a car is introduced in Bubble Pop while a helicopter appeared in No No No.

4minute's LOVE TENSION PV to be released on August 22, 2012 in Japan

It's not long before 4Minute drops the physical copies of their 7th Japanese single, "Love Tension". The official PV of their newest single was released and aired at MTV Japan.

The video features the distinct concept and style of 4minute which they have been using since their Japanese single, "First". The video is embedded with stylish graphics that compliments the dance of the members as well. The fans were very delighted even more, when Kwon Sohyun made a special dance break in the middle of the video.

The full single is to be released on August 22, 2012.

Psy say thanks to Hyuna for her special appearance in Gangnam Style MV

After receiving close to 19 million views for Gangnam Style, Psy took some time to thank 4minute’s Hyuna for making a special appearance in the music video.

On August 6, Psy wrote on his me2day, “Thankful for Hyuna until the ends of the earth. At the Songdo subway station…at 6 in the morning. She’s usually pretty, but she’s even prettier because she’s with me.”

Along with the post, Psy uploaded a short behind-the-scenes of Hyuna’s participation in the music video. Despite the early hour, Psy and Hyuna worked hard, taking care of each other during the shooting.

Hyuna voted as the ugliest member of 4minute by So Hyun

In one of the episodes of QTV’s 4minute’s Travel Makers, the 4minute and SISTAR members will play a game of ‘To tell the truth’. 

During this time, 4minute’s youngest, Kwon So Hyun was asked to honestly rank the 4minute members based only on their looks (not counting body). 

Kwon So Hyun showed a surprising amount of bravery as she almost immediately revealed her ranking saying, “In second place is Ga Yoon, third is Ji Hyun, fourth is Ji Yoon and last is Hyuna.” 

She then confidently shared, “First is me! My beauty is rising,” eliciting daggers being shot from the eyes of herunnies. 

In the same episode, the members candidly share about receiving interest from other male celebrities. The issue was aired on August 8.

4minute‘s HyunA showcased her healthy and fit figure in a recent photo shoot for ‘FAST‘ Magazine.

For this particular shoot, HyunA donned a wide variety of casual clothing that still outlined her toned physique.

The singer who has displayed her sexy charms with more provocative attire on stage still managed to look fierce and appealing in comfortable attire.

HyunA flawlessly pulled off each concept for all the different looks, reportedly earning the applause of the staff members each time the camera snapped a photo of her.

Meanwhile, 4minute’s sexy icon HyunA is being named the newest ‘muse’ not only in K-Pop but also in fashion, and the rest of her pictorials can be found in the August publication of ‘FAST’ magazine.
